>The red rug is as bold and versatile as it is inviting. These rugs have been known to make different sections of the home energetic and pulsating.

When choosing a rug, there are several things to consider and most importantly is the purpose of the rug. If as an example, the aim is to keep your feet warm, whether indoors or outdoors, then the size and material of the mat comes into play. A shag rug would be perfect for a soft cozy area to walk or rest your feet on because of the thick long fibers.  This particular rug can be made from fluffy high end material but if on the other hand the agenda is to keep dirt and dust at bay then a simple synthetic rug should do. For the bathroom and cloak room, a cotton based rug would be a good choice because they give the necessary grip while adding some color to the room.

Area rugs can be used both indoors and outdoors in order to add value to the space where they are located. For the patio or deck area, the color and design should be more animated than one used in the living room or dining area. This gives the section some warmth and adds value to the area both functionally and aesthetically. As such, the different shades of red should be taken into consideration before the rug is picked. These pieces will act as an accent rugs that brings style and class to a room.  It would be in bad taste to have a crimson rug in the middle of the living room as it would distract attention from a rather beautifully decorated area. However, if the agenda is to take attention away from an otherwise drab section of the home, then the brighter the rug, the better.

These rugs are imported from across the globe but once again the end purpose must be taken into account. For the outdoors, a trip to the local department store should yield some good results. If on the other hand, the intention is to add a touch of class then an oriental rug should do the trick. These area rugs can either be hand or machine woven or they could be a braided rug. The braided oriental versions tend to be slightly pricier than the regular plain machine made versions due to the amount of detail that goes into the pieces and the time it takes to complete them.

Red rugs add color and energy to an area but the purpose of the rug should always be considered before settling on one not matter how attractive it seems for now.
